GetSATÂ has received a multimillion dollar contract to supply land and maritime variants of the company’s micronized communications terminal to the U.S. government.
The government has selected GetSAT’s MicroSAT and MiliSAT L/MÂ platforms that are designed to support Ka- and Ku-band communications on-the-move, the company said Friday.
The rugged terminals are based on InterFLAT technology that can transmit and receive signals on the same antenna panel and help address bandwidth requirements for ground, air and marine operations.
GetSAT designed MicroSat and MilliSAT to help users receive and transmit data at a speed of at least 10 megabits per second.
The company will showcase both terminals at the Satellite Show that will be held in Washington, D.C. from March 13 to 15.
