Rhys Williams, a financial executive with more than 20 years of experience, has been appointed corporate vice president and treasurer at Cubic.
He will oversee Cubic’s treasury functions that include capital structure, credit acquisition and administration, investments, insurance and risk management efforts, the company said Monday.
Anshooman Aga, executive VP and chief financial officer at Cubic, said Williams brings corporate finance experience to help drive the company’s “Goal 2020” strategy and value for shareholders.
Williams previously served as treasurer for online genealogy platform Ancestry and treasury director at biotechnology company Life Technologies.
He served as a consultant at Deloitte earlier in his career.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economic decision science from the University of California at San Diego and a master’s degree in corporate finance degree from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
