Cherokee Nation Technologies has won a potential five-year, $55 million order from the Defense Health Agency to provide health surveillance support for the Defense Department.
DoD said Thursday the company will help maintain existing infrastructure; respond to inquiries from medical and health authorities; and analyze, interpret and disseminate information on the status, trends and determinants of the U.S. military’s health and fitness,
CNT will also assist DHA and the assistant secretary of defense for health affairs in global efforts to reduce the occurrence of infectious diseases.
The order has a one-year base period, four one-year option periods and an additional one six-month option.
Work will occur in Ohio and Maryland through March 2023.
DHA received three bids for the firm-fixed-price order through a competitive procurement under pool 1 of the General Services Administration‘s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Small Business contract.
The agency has obligated $9.8 million on the award from its fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds.
