BAE Taps Sparton Unit to Supply Ruggedized Displays

AÂ SpartonÂ business unit has received a $13 million contract to supply ruggedized flat panel displays for aÂ BAE SystemsÂ program that supports the U.S. Navy.

Sparton said MondayÂ itsÂ Aydin DisplaysÂ team willÂ deliver more than 600 panels to BAE over a 30-month period.

â€œOur suppliers help us meet the commitments we make to our customers, and it is essential those relationships are strong so that we can deliver value,â€ said Donna Linke-Klein, director of BAE’s tactical systems business.

Aydin Displays designs and produces liquid crystal displays for military use in ground, maritime and air missions.
