Patrick Biltgen, technical director of analytics at Vencore, received recognition at the Intelligence and National Security Alliance’s Achievement Awards ceremony held Thursday in Washington, D.C.
INSA presented Biltgen with its Edwin H. Land Industry Award to acknowledge his professional efforts in the intelligence field, Vencore said Friday.
Vencore President and CEO Mac Curtis said the company’s employees aim to help civilian customers address technical and complex problems.
“We thank Patrick for the contributions he’s made to our industry, and congratulate him on this well-deserved award,” added Curtis, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
In his current role, Biltgen helps develop the company’s software offerings for the intelligence community and define analytics concepts and road maps for multiple customer agencies.
He also architects research and development tools as well as recruits professionals who have the skills to join the IC workforce.
Biltgen has co-authored the textbook, entitled “Activity-Based Intelligence: Principals and Applications.â€
