SAP Unveils Asset Strategy & Performance Mgmt Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting eventSAP SE has launched a platform that works to help customers manage strategies for physical assets and monitor asset performance in real time.

The company said Monday the SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management system is designed to connect assets and support management across business functions, including maintenance management, manufacturing, finance and human resources.

Tanja Rueckert, SAP president of the internet of things and digital supply chain, said the new offering is intended to give equipment providers and operators the capacity to “streamline business operations and fully execute on digital transformation strategies.”

The SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management platform joins SAP’s portfolio of cloud-based asset management tools, which also include the SAP Asset Intelligence Network and SAP Predictive Maintenance and Service.

SAP’s Asset Strategy and Performance Management system is designed to operate alongside the Predictive Maintenance and Service to deliver a real-time view into asset history, performance, condition and cost.

The SAP Asset Intelligence Network is built to create digital twins of physical assets and support asset availability across networks.
