Mike Gallagher, a 22-year veteran of the Australian navy and former managing director at L3 Technologies‘ Oceania business, has been named strategy director at Northrop Grumman‘s Australian arm.
He will work closely with Ian Irving, chief executive of Northrop Grumman Australia, and will manage the subsidiary’s expansion strategy in his new position, the company said Friday.
Gallagher previously worked as general manager for strategy and business development at Raytheon‘s Australian subsidiary.
Gallagher spent most of his military career in submarine service. He commanded HMS Osiris on exchange with U.K. navy and helped brought HMAS Farncomb into the Australian navy fleet.
