Northrop Grumman has landed a potential $75 million  indefinite-delivery/indefinite-
JTE is designed to generate a battlespace environment that facilitates training of military personnel to identify and address enemy missile and artillery threats, Northrop said Thursday.
The company developed the system to be reprogrammable for new threat parameters and reactive for aerial defensive missions.
Walid Abukhaled, chief executive for Northrop’s Middle East operations, said JTE will provide Saudi Arabia a capacity to prepare military aircrew for operations across the electromagnetic spectrum.
Twenty-three JTE systems has been fielded by domestic and international customers to date through a U.S. Air Force program of record.
Northrop has supported Saudi Arabia over the past four decades.
