The General Services Administration and ServiceNow have reached a governmentwide agreement that seeks to facilitate the procurement of ServiceNow’s software platforms by federal agencies through Carahsoft Technology’s IT Schedule 70 contract.
Emily Murphy, GSA administrator and a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said in a statement published Friday the agreement seeks to address duplication in the procurement process and comply with the IT Schedule 70 Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act Enhancement Program.
The agreement provides federal agencies access to ServiceNow’s software offerings for cybersecurity operations, IT service and operations management, human resource service and customer service management.
Agencies can also gain access to on-premise, hybrid and off-premise procurement and deployment models through the deal.
GSA noted the adoption of ServiceNow’s software offerings through the agreement could generate tiered discounts of about 4 to 10 percent based on software volume purchases and agency implementation.
