CSRA has received a potential five-year, $8.5 million blanket purchase agreement to provide cloud computing services to the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.
The company said Thursday it will provide USU access to Google‘s cloud offering, G Suite and Amazon Web Services’ cloud platform through the BPA that has a base term and four option years.
Larry Prior, CSRA president and CEO and a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said the company will leverage its “Thinking Next. Now.†strategy to help clients store and process large datasets through Google Cloud Platform.
CSRA will also help the university expand the use of cloud services through applications in the GCP to facilitate university research, education and business operations.
USU is a federal university managed by the defense assistant secretary for health affairs and seeks to educate and train health professionals and scientists in support of service personnel.
The university also supports the U.S. Public Health Service, Military Health System and the country’s national defense and security strategies.
