ACT I Gets 10 Military Healthcare Mgmt Support Orders; Michael Niggel Comments

Advanced Concepts and Technologies International has received 10 task orders worth $15 million combined for healthcare management services to the Defense Health Agency and the U.S. Air Force Medical Operations Agency.

The company said Wednesday the orders were awarded through pool 1 of the General Services Administration‘s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Small Business contract vehicle.

“Together with our strategic partners, ACT I is pleased to deliver essential healthcare management and services to the DHA and AFMOA to advance their missions to provide a medically ready force in both peacetime and wartime,” said ACT I CEO Michael Niggel.

The two DHA orders cover subject matter expertise and procurement support to the agency’s Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health/Traumatic Brain Injury, as well as data analysis support to the agency’s David Grant Medical Center.

ACT I will support AFMOA under the remaining eight orders that encompass communication, workflow management and human resources; risk management operations; business management; surgical quality review;  telemental health management; patient advocate training; program management; and archivist and multimedia services.
