A joint venture of United States Technologies, Aldetec and Broadband Wireless Technologies has received a potential five-year, $1.6 million contract to manufacture power supply units for a U.S. Navy shipboard interrogator system.
United States Technologies-Aldetec Holding will perform contract work at a facility in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, UST said Thursday.
The Navy will use power supplies from the company on the service branch’s AN/UPX-24(v) shipboard interrogator.
UST CEO Robert Ferrante said the company has worked with customers to help them address subsystem obsolescence issues associated with fielded and legacy systems.
New Jersey-based UST manufactures, designs, repairs, upgrades, tests, engineers and reverse engineers electronics subassemblies for military and commercial clients worldwide.
