Saab has received a potential $171 million order to provide operational and development services for Sweden’s fleet of Gripen fighter aircraft.
The company said Monday it will help the Sweden defense materiel administration operate rigs, simulators and test aircraft as part of the agency’s efforts to verify and validate systems of Gripen C/D and E variants.
Saab will also help operate the country’s Gripen C/D aircraft through the order.
Work will occur at multiple company facilities in Sweden over the next three years.
