Root9BÂ received contracts worth more than $5.5 million combined during the last quarter of 2017 to provide cybersecurity services to multiple government and commercial customers.
The company said Wednesday it received a contract extension to help the Defense Department manage active adversary pursuit missions and training events with the Orion HUNT platform.
Root9B will also provide advisory, incident response and security evaluation services to customer agencies at the state and municipal levels.
HUNT is based on the active network defense strategy and designed to help cybersecurity professionals defend client network operations.
The company also secured cybersecurity contracts from Fortune 500 financial services and retail corporations as well as an international talent management and entertainment company.
Root9B will deliver the services onsite or through its Colorado-based facilities.
