QinetiQ Signs Five-year Deal With Dutch Air Force for Training Services - top government contractors - best government contracting eventQinetiQ has signed in December a five-year, $7.4 million contract with the Netherlands’ air force entailing the company’s Empire Test Pilots’ School to provide training services for Dutch pilots and engineers.

ETPS has enabled multi-year contracts through the signing of a Long Term Partnering Agreement, QinetiQ said Tuesday.

The company intends to further propagate multi-year options to more customers.

ETPS students for 2018 will be able to fly the school’s fleet of new aircraft that includes Grob 120TP and Pilatus PC-21 units, as well as Airbus H125 helicopters.

Courses will include lectures making use of modern environments, materials and teaching methods such as distance learning and student-centered learning.

The Dutch ministry of defense will contribute supervision to the courses.
