Phil Carrai, president of the technology and training division at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, has said that the company will provide customizable products and services to help secure U.S. military satellite operations under a $13.9 million delivery order from the U.S. Air Force.
The order awarded in late 2017 covers the provision of satellite and communication system equipment, hardware and related products, Kratos said Thursday.
USAF awarded the order to exercise an option period under a previously awarded contract for various services such as mission activity and maneuver planning; telemetry processing; orbit and attitude management; space vehicle and ground system simulation; and satellite state-of-health operations support.
Carrai added that Kratos offers a range of technical services and platforms designed to help address defense clients’ mission-specific requirements.
