OST Global Solutions has unveiled an incubator program that seeks to help small businesses secure federal contracts and transition into prime contractors.
The GovCon Incubator will work to provide member companies networking and mentoring services through its in-house consulting personnel, the company said Wednesday.
The incubator also has a curriculum in entrepreneurship, business development, operations and capacity development based on courses offered by the Rockville, Maryland-based business management consulting firm’s Bid & Proposal Academy.
“Fewer small businesses competing for prime federal contracts is inherently unhealthy, as competition results in better services and helps drive down cost,” said Olessia Smotrova, president and CEO of OST Global Solutions.
“The better we can equip small businesses to enter and successfully compete in the federal market, the more the government and taxpayers will benefit.”
The GovCon Incubator also provides small businesses co-working spaces and access to the firm’s KNOW collaboration platform.
