Lockheed Martin has received a $7.5 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to transfer an F-35 aircraft reprogramming laboratory system to a U.S. Air Force base in Florida.
The Defense Department said Wednesday the company’s aeronautics business will transition the F-35 Australia, Canada, U.K. Reprogramming Laboratory system from a Lockheed facility in Fort Worth, Texas to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
Work also covers packing, shipping, installation, integration and testing services, as well as provision of initial ACURL spares.
DoD noted that international partner funds will be obligated at time of modification award and the contractor is scheduled to complete work by March 2019.
