Julie Boland, managing partner at EY‘s Cleveland office, has been named as the company’s vice chair and regional managing partner for the U.S. Central Region, effective July 1.
EY said Wednesday Boland will oversee teams, market leadership, talent development and customer service for the company’s regional practice.
She will also support several of the company’s largest clients in the Central Region as a senior advisory partner and join the U.S. Executive Committee and the Americas Operating Executive.
Boland will succeed Kelly Grier, who was appointed in December to serve as EY’s U.S. chairman, managing partner-elect and managing partner-elect for the Americas area starting on July 1.
Prior to EY, Boland worked at private aviation company Flight Options as chief financial officer and held vice president roles at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan.
She started her career as a certified public accountant at professional services firm PwC.
