James Skulina, an executive vice president of TransDigm Group, has been appointed interim chief financial officer at the Cleveland-based aircraft components maker.
He will succeed Terrance Paradie, who stepped down from the CFO role and will remain with Transdigm through April 2 to assist with the transition, the company said Tuesday.
“[Skulina] has substantial experience as a financial and operating executive and we are pleased he has agreed to step in as our interim CFO,” said W. Nicholas Howley, Transdigm chairman and CEO.
Skulina joined the company in 1994 and has helped manage the company’s current businesses and new acquisitions over the past six years.
He previously served as controller at the corporate level as well as controller for Transdigm’s AeroControlex subsidiary and president of the AeroFluid Products business.
