IndraSoft has received a multiyear $64 million task order to help the U.S. Census Bureau manage its fingerprinting and identity proofing operations to prepare for the next decennial count.
The company said Friday it will support the bureau’s 2018 End-to-End Census Test and 2020 Decennial Census activities across the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and island territories.
Neeraja Lingam, CEO of IndraSoft, said the company aims to help ensure accuracy of the country’s population data.
Lingam added the task order will also include facial photography project management, implementation, operations, maintenance and related customer support services.
IndraSoft aims to help the bureau onboard more than 500,000 candidate personnel for the 2020 decennial census.
