Ensco has received a five-year, $8.2 million contract to continue support work on a warning and decision support tool the company built for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency’s branch for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense.
The company said Tuesday it will develop software and provide customization services for the SENTRY application that works to help personnel view data from CBRNE sensors and obtain situational awareness and security information throughout Pentagon facilities in real time.
Additionally, Ensco will also help PFPA-CBRNEÂ manage sensors, model and build system controls, procure equipment and assess system threats under the contract.
The company has helped the Defense Department protect its facilities within the National Capital Region against CBRNE threats with the use of technology over the past 15 years.
