Dan Cooper, president of Xerox‘s Global Imaging Systems subsidiary, has been appointed to serve as CEO of the subsidiary once Tom Salierno retires from the position in April.
Xerox said Friday Cooper is a nearly two-decade GIS veteran and previously served as president of information technology services provider Electronic Systems Inc., which he helped advance into a core company under GIS’ portfolio.
Cooper took over additional responsibilities at the GIS headquarters and core companies in 2005, then assumed additional GIS field operations duties in 2016.
Prior to GIS, he was a region manager at Danka Office Imaging for more than 10 years.
Tampa, Florida-based GIS offers business technology products and services along with maintenance, network management, supply, technical support and training services to clients worldwide.
