Curtiss-Wright to Produce Aerospace Instrumentation Tech for Air Force Test Center - top government contractors - best government contracting eventCurtiss-Wright has received a potential $86 million contract to produce aerospace instrumentation tools to support data acquisition program at a U.S. Air Force test center.

The company said Tuesday it will provide network switches, data acquisition systems, recorders, telemetry systems and ground station systems to the Edwards Air Force Base’s AFTC as part of the High Speed Data Acquisition System effort.

The sole-source contract also covers repairs, upgrades, field services and technical support for HSDAS equipment.

Work will take place at a Newtown, Pennsylvania-based facility operated by Curtiss-Wright’s Teletronics business.

Curtiss-Wright will facilitate production and engineering of the aerospace instrumentation tools through 2022.

The company said it has completed work under a previous $73 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for HSDAS program support.
