India-based investment firm Stellaris Venture Partners has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Cisco‘s investments unit, Live Mint reported Monday.
The technology venture capital fund invests in business- and consumer-centric start-ups that offer analytics, cloud, enterprise application and Internet of Things products and services.
Sameer Garde, president of Cisco India, said the company supports all stages of startup development covering direct and indirect funding of promising digital organizations throughout the country.
Stellaris started to invest in 2017 and has since made early stage investments in four companies including India-based doctor consultation firm Mfine.
