CenturyLink has hired Gaurav Chand and Shaun Andrews to serve in executive positions and directly work under Chief Operating Officer Jeff Storey.
The company said Tuesday Chand, who previously worked at Dell EMC‘s infrastructure solutions group, and Andrews, formerly senior vice president for IP and real-time communications at Level 3 Communications, will serve as executive vice president for marketing and product management, respectively.
Chand joins CenturyLink after approximately 17 years with Dell, where he most recently held the position of global senior vice president for marketing at ISG.
He is tasked to lead and support CenturyLink’s digital transformation strategy, marketing strategy, marketing communications, branding and customer interaction as part of his new role.
Chand holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Fergusson College in India and a master’s degree in business administration from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Andrews, the former executive at Level 3, brings to CenturyLink approximately 25 years of expertise in the telecommunications industry, including his experience with product development and management positions at companies such as WilTel and SBC Communications.
He is appointed to support CenturyLink’s product management, product marketing, pricing and go-to-market program.
He attained his bachelor’s degree in business from Miami University in Ohio and his master of business administration degree from Northwestern University in Illinois.
