Telos will continue to carry out system security assessments to support the Defense Department’s cybersecurity authorization process after the U.S. Air Force renewed the company’s licenses.
The renewal of the firm’s General Agent of the Security Control Assessor and Special ASCA certifications by the Air Force Space Command’s SCA would allow Telos to test networks, systems and applications as well as evaluate system documentation, processes and policies, Telos said Tuesday.
The two ASCA licenses also seek to authorize the company to deliver the plan of action and milestones and security assessment report, validate compliance with DoD’s security control guidance and input review results into the Pentagon’s enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service application – eMASS.
The service branch renewed Telos’ General ASCA license for six years in a row and the Special ASCA accreditation for the third consecutive year.
