The integrated microwave technologies and wireless network businesses of xG Technology have fulfilled the initial order of the U.S. Army under a previously awarded $12.5 million contract for hand-held situational awareness systems.
IMT and Vislink have delivered hand-held intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance receiver devices under the first order slated for completion by Feb. 15, 2018, xG Technology said Wednesday.
George Schmitt, executive chairman and CEO of xG Technology said that the delivery was worked on by the company’s teams in the U.S. and the U.K.
xG Technology offers broadcast, law enforcement and defense markets with wireless video technologies and private mobile broadband networks through the company’s brands that include IMT, Vislink and xMax.
