QTS Completes 2 Annual SOC Audits, Receives ISO Info Security Mgmt Certification

Data center services provider QTS has received certifications from a public accounting and auditing firm after completion of two annual Service Organization Control audits.

QTS said Thursday it completed American Institute of Certified Public Accountants SOC 1 and 2 Type II reports highlighting the company’s internal controls and procedures.

The reports follow AICPA’s Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements and cover QTS systems and controls processes from Oct. 1, 2016 to Sept. 30, 2017.

The company also received ISO 27001:2013 certification for information security management systems used at 13 of its data centers.

QTS also holds certifications for compliance with Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, Federal Information Security Management Act and Payment Card Industry security standards.
