Ultra Electronics has secured a potential nine-year, $49.2 million contract from the U.S. Navy to sustain AN/TSQ-214 Air Defense Systems Integrator products and ancillary equipment.
The Defense Department said Monday the company’s advanced tactical systems unit will support for the ADSI platforms of the Navy, joint DoD forces and the Department of Homeland Security.
ADSI works to deliver situational awareness to ashore and afloat units and helps commanders obtain data they need to make decisions, DoD noted.
Work will also include incidental engineering and technical services such as information assurance, help desk support, software trouble reports, equipment failure solutions and plans for end-of-life issues.
The contract has a five-year base value of $26.3 million and work could extend through December 2026 if the option is exercised.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic will obligate $25,000 at the time of award from the Navy’s fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds.
