An L3 Technologies subsidiary has received a $37.6 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide additional engineering, logistics and maintenance services for 200 T-45 Goshawk trainer aircraft, systems and support equipment.
Vertex Aerospace will also provide equipment, tools and direct and indirect materials to support the Navy’s T-45 flight and test and evaluation efforts, the Defense Department said Monday.
The subsidiary will perform work through September 2018 at various naval air stations located in Texas, Mississippi, Florida and Maryland.
DoD noted the Navy will obligate funds upon issuance of each order.
