Ideascale has obtained Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud-based software platform designed to help agencies collect innovation ideas from public and private communities.
The company said Tuesday the IdeaScale platform is currently the only idea management technology offering available on the FedRAMP marketplace.
Tim Sussman, vice president of public sector initiatives at IdeaScale, said the company seeks to help customers manage crowdsourcing initiatives through the FedRAMP certification.
Customer agencies use the platform as part of efforts to innovate and engage with citizens, the company noted.
The departments of Energy and Homeland Security, NASA and the Food and Drug Administration are among federal agencies that have adopted IdeaScale’s technology.
