General Dynamics‘ information technology unit has secured a $13.3 million contract to help operate and maintain the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command‘s information technology networks.
The Army obligated $82,894 at the time of award from its fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds, the Defense Department said Monday.
GDIT will perform contract work at Fort Belvoir in Virginia through May 21, 2018.
INSCOM was established to implement mission commands to operational intelligence and security forces, perform and synchronize security, multi-discipline and all-source intelligence missions around the world.
The command also provides linguist support, skills training, logistics and communications services to the Army, joint and coalition commands.
