Engility plans to help federal customers modernize information technology systems through the company’s position on the potential $50 billion Alliant 2 governmentwide acquisition contract vehicle awarded in November.
The company said Tuesday it will offer systems engineering and integration, enterprise, cyber and high-performance computing services to agencies under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Luis Almodovar, vice president for GWAC and IDIQ solutions at Engility, said he expects Alliant 2 to increase the firm’s capacity to compete for government support work globally.
GSA initially awarded 61 spots on the unrestricted portion of the contract that has five base years and five option years.
Engility pointed to its experience in the cybersecurity, biometrics, artificial intelligence, internet of things, big data and virtual networking areas as key factor for securing the win.
