George Wilson, president and CEO of ECS Federal, has been elected to the Professional Services Council’s board of directors.
Wilson is one of 11 newly elected member-company executives who will each serve a three-year term on the council’s board effective Jan. 1, PSC said Monday.
He will work with other new and re-elected board and executive committee members to provide policy oversight for the council, as well as help the council offer continued support to the government professional and technology services industry.
He joined ECS in 2011 as a chief strategy officer in charge of business growth efforts.
Prior to ECS, Wilson led corporate development, investment and expansion initiatives that worked to help transform Stanley from a small business to a public company with more than $900 million in annual revenue prior to its 2010 acquisition by CGI.
