The Defense Department has placed RSA‘s security information and event management platform on the DoDÂ Information Network Approved Product List.
RSA said Monday its NetWitness Suite platform achieved APL certification following a testing process meant to determine whether the product meets DoD’s security standards.
NetWitness Suite works to detect threats and provide visibility across logs and network data in a single unified platform.
The RSA offering is designed to identify and prioritize high-risk security threats to aid rapid response as well as boost security processes to minimize attackers’ dwell time.
NetWitness Suite also employs machine learning techniques to identify anomalous behaviors that can be used to detect threats.
Bedford, Massachusetts-based RSA is a Dell Technologies subsidiary that offers cybersecurity products and services.
