Capgemini has received a potential seven-year contract to provide SAP software management and operation consulting services to Sweden’s armed forces.
Work covers strategic, tactical and operational support intended to address the Swedish military’s economic, logistical and technological requirements for multiple SAP platforms, Capgemini said Thursday.
The company will support the PRIO system that currently runs on Sweden’s military information technology platform.
PRIO is based on SAP’s defense and public security technology and integrated with 80 support applications and systems being used by the country’s armed forces.
The Swedish defense materiel administration picked Capgemini as the agency’s exclusive partner through a co-sourcing frame agreement after a comprehensive selection process.
