Mike Lewis, director of business development and training solutions at CAE‘s U.S. arm, will deliver a keynote speech Thursday at the 2017 Military Flight Training USA Summit in San Antonio, Texas.
He will discuss integrated live, virtual and constructive flight training that works to connect aircraft and ground simulations, Leonardo DRS said Monday.
In his current role, Lewis oversees CAE USA‘s portfolio of LVC training platforms and services for various military aircraft platforms such as the M-346 trainer from Leonardo.
He served 20 years at the U.S. Air Force where he gained flight training and combat operations experience as a pilot.
Leonardo DRS, the Italian conglomerate’s U.S. subsidiary, partnered with CAE USA and Honeywell to offer the T-100 Integrated Training System to the Air Force’s T-X fighter pilot trainer program.
