CACI International has received an International Organization for Standardization certification for the company’s cybersecurity test environment platform.
The company said Tuesday its Cyber Range secured the ISO 27001:2013 certification following an independent assessment that sought to evaluate whether the test environment complies with ISO’s information security practices and policies.
CACI’s Cyber Range works to help users perform simulations of device and infrastructure interfaces as well as carry out cyber exercises and test security tools in a virtual training environment.
John Mengucci, chief operating officer at CACI, said the new ISO certification seeks to demonstrate the company’s efforts to ensure that its information technology infrastructure and practices are in compliance with government and industry standards.
CACI said the ISO credential would help advance the firm’s plan to comply with the National Institute for Standards and Technology’s Special Publication 800-171 that sets federal requirements to protect defense data and facilitate reporting of cyber incidents.
