Saalex Solutions has won a potential $87.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide nearly 1.2 million direct labor hours of engineering support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
The Defense Department said Monday the company will help NAWCWD’s research and engineering department develop, test, evaluate, produce and operate multiple weapons systems across the Naval Air Systems Command portfolio.
The Navy received six offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via an electronic solicitation process and will provide funds upon the issuance of each task order.
Work will occur in California and Maryland through February 2023.
Camarillo, California-based Saalex Solutions offers systems engineering, information technology, logistics support, range operations and maintenance services to space and combat weapon programs.
