Rockwell Collins to Integrate Airborne Radio Tech on Air Force F-16 Fleet - top government contractors - best government contracting eventRockwell Collins will integrate its networked communications airborne radio, which features mobile user objective system and soldier radio waveform capacities, onboard U.S. Air Force F-16 aircraft.

The company said Wednesday the ARC-210 RT-2036(C) offering provides data, imagery and voice connectivity for manned and unmanned systems.

The ARC-210 RT-2036(C) radio system belongs under the company’s TruNet family of products designed to secure connectivity between airborne and ground units.

Rockwell Collins’ radio platform also builds on the company’s extensive experience with developing communications capacities for clients.

“We heard, understood and are delivering the new communications capabilities being called for on the modern battlefield,” said Troy Brunk, vice president and general manager of the communication, navigation and electronic warfare solutions unit at Rockwell Collins.

The National Security Agency will assess the product for final certification prior to its deployment to the armed forces’ warfighter systems.
