Meggitt Training Systems has developed a multiscreen virtual firearms training system intended for military and law enforcement personnel.
The company said Tuesday it will introduce its FATS 300 at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference that will take place from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
FATS 300 is designed to also support multiple types of weapon and ammunition used on the FATS 100MIL and 100LE models.
Jeff Murphy, Meggitt Training Systems president, said users of the 100MIL and 100LE configurations can upgrade to a 300-degree, high-definition virtual environment through the new platform.
The FATS 300 platform employs a ballistic engine and supports three-dimensional marksmanship training with up to 20 weapons simultaneously.
