Jon Panamaroff, chief compliance officer and a senior vice president for Koniag‘s government services unit, has been appointed to the Native American Contractors Association board of directors for the second time.
Panamaroff, who was elected Nov. 8, is a a member of the Sun’aq tribe of Kodiak,. Alaska, and previously sat on the NACA board from 2015 to 2016, Koniag said Friday.
He is a Koniag shareholder and also serves as president of the company’s education foundation and CEO of the Kodiak Brown Bear Center.
“He believes strongly that federal contracting provides tremendous support to native economic development and native educational programs,” said Ed O’Hare, CEO of Koniag Government Services.
Prior to joining Koniag, Panamaroff was president at Tuknik Government Services and CEO at Colville Tribal Solutions.
He holds a business administration bachelor’s degree in general management and human resource management and a master’s degree in public administration from Eastern Washington University.
