Kirsten Nielsen, former director of investor relations at global engineering and manufacturing company Arconic, has joined Cubic as vice president of investor relations.
She will be responsible for implementing Cubic’s investor relations program that covers strategic positioning, messaging and communications functions, the company said Monday.
Nielsen served as corporate development manager for Alcoa prior to renaming itself to the company now known as Arconic through a spinoff initiative.
Her career began with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as a mergers and acquisitions analyst.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and M.B.A. degree from the University of Virginia.
