Hughes Network Systems has received new ISO certification after an independent auditor completed an assessment of the broadband satellite company’s quality management practices.
Hughes said Wednesday the ISO 9001:2015 standard recertification validates the firm’s commitment to implement continuous improvement efforts, quality management principles and customer focus strategies in efforts to design, deliver, manufacture and support telecommunication products and services.
ISOÂ 9001:2015 covers guidance and tools for organizations that offer products and services designed to help address clients’ evolving requirements.
“Since its inception, Hughes has been dedicated to meeting and exceeding the highest quality standards in every aspect of our business – including our management principles, our design and manufacturing process, and our strong focus on meeting customer requirements,” said Bob Stedman, vice president of quality at Hughes.
