Honeywel International has won a potential $10.5 million contract to help the U.S. Air Force research and develop an acceleration measurement device.
The Defense Department said Tuesday Honeywell support research and development of a low noise, high sensitivity vibrating beam accelerometer under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.
Work will occur in Glendale, Arizona, through Feb. 20, 2025 and the obligated amount of $90,340 at the time of award is from the Air Force’s fiscal 2017 R&D funds.
The Air Force Research Laboratory received five offers for the competitively solicited contract.
