DynCorp International and the U.S. Army are set to ink a strategic partnership agreement on Nov. 12 to drive efforts to assist service members in finding employment after they leave the military.
The agreement is part of the Army’s Partnership for Youth Success program that seeks to involve private industry, academia and state and local public organizations in an aim to help soldiers secure post-service job interviews and employment opportunities, DynCorp said Wednesday.
The PaYS program intends to connect service members with companies that recognize the skills, discipline and work ethic that soldiers could contribute to a business.
DynCorp added the program looks to encourage the youth to serve in the military while preparing for a career track as well as prompt businesses to consider the Army as a source of talent.
Over 690 businesses have engaged with PaYS since it commenced in 2000.
