General Dynamics has landed a three-year, $14.7 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to produce machine gun barrels for the U.S. Army.
The Defense Department said Wednesday the company’s ordnance and tactical systems business will perform contract work in Vermont through Dec. 24, 2021.
The Army will fund the procurement of machine gun barrels using working capital funds for fiscal year 2018 through fiscal 2021.
DLA’s land and maritime group received one bid for the IDIQ contract.
