A Curtiss-Wright subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $45 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide airborne instrumentation data acquisition hardware and related repair services to the Naval Air Systems Command.
Teletronics will supply NAVAIR’s Air Vehicle Modification and Instrumentation Department with data acquisition, solid state recorder, high-speed sampling, signal conditioner and power supply systems designed to function on multiple Navy aircraft platforms, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The components will be integrated to form an airborne instrumentation data acquisition platform for F/A-18, P-8, V-22, F35, C-130, Triton, Fire Scout aircraft as well as helicopter platforms and central test and evaluation investment programs.
Teletronics will perform work in Patuxent River, Maryland, through November 2022.
The Navy will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
