CGI has launched a new security operations center in Germany designed to offer global information technology security services for commercial and public sector clients.
The company said Monday local cybersecurity experts will support the new Germany-based SOC which will monitor and assess organizations’ data and networks to determine and support security risk remediation.
The Germany-based SOC was established in support of the company’s SOC network expansion efforts worldwide which will look to address evolving security threats and obstacles.
Frank Reilander, cybersecurity director for CGI in Germany, said IT services providers including CGI work to offer services that can help accelerate the detection and remediation of cyber attacks to within minutes.
Torsten Strass, senior vice president of CGI operations in Germany, said cybersecurity is one of the key elements for the digitalization of organizations’ business processes as well as the implementation of transformation strategies.
